UPDATE: Pickup truck and two bodies pulled from St. Joe River in Elkhart, people identified
UPDATE (7:32 p.m.): The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office has now confirmed the two bodies recovered from the St. Joe River in Elkhart are 30-year-old Theo Bean and 39-year-old Tireno Washington.
Families have been notified, and this is an ongoing investigation.
UPDATE (6:45p.m.): The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that two bodies have been recovered from the vehicle pulled from the St. Joe River in Elkhart earlier today.
Identities are being withheld at this time pending identification.

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Sheriff's Office, along with other agencies, are pulling vehicle from the St. Joe River in Elkhart Wednesday evening.
Authorities say the call came in around 3:45 p.m. for a vehicle in the river east of C.R. 17, near Bristol. The type of vehicle is still unknown.
The sheriff's office says a pickup truck of unknown make and model was traveling east on S.R. 120, west of C.R. 19 when it ran off the northside of the roadway traveled down a ditch, and into the St Joseph River.
"At this time injury status cannot be confirmed as the recovery efforts are ongoing," the ECSO said. "This report will be updated when more information is known."
The vehicle is still being pulled out of the river as of 5 p.m. on Wednesday and traffic is blocked in the area.
