Severe weather likely for portions of Michiana later today
Clouds gather through the day with some slightly breezy conditions, other than the breeze it will be a fairly calm morning, though sprinkles are expected to start in the early afternoon hours. More widespread rain cuts through Michiana in the afternoon hours, some rumbles of thunder can't be ruled out, but nothing is expected to be severe. Gusts could get up to 40mph into the evening hours. Rain tapers off overnight, and clouds start to clear out slightly for Monday, with temperatures still below average. We do gradually warm up through the week, with low scattered precipitation chances. Widespread showers are expected all through next weekend however, with high temperatures reaching the 60s as well Friday and Saturday. Calmer conditions and closer to average temperatures are expected to start next work week.
