Bye-bye, Marilyn: Chicago says farewell to giant statue

CHICAGO -- Marilyn Monroe has left Chicago.
A giant statue honoring the movie legend was taken apart Tuesday night.
Dozens gathered on Michigan Ave. to watch.
Designed by American artist Seward Johnson, the statue weighs 40,000-pounds and stands 26-feet high.
Marilyn's next stop is in Palm Springs, Calif.
