Josef Newgarden wins thrilling Indy 500
BUCHANAN, Mich. — Planning is already underway for one of Buchanan’s biggest events of the year!
‘Thrill on the Hill’ turns the hill on Front Street into a 500-foot-long outdoor water slide and brings in well over 10,000 people to the town each year.
The vendors, games and fun don’t slide into town until July, but the city is calling on the community for volunteers and sponsors!
Volunteers can help out with things like helping people go down and get off of the slide safely and watching over kids in the children’s area.
Sponsors and donations are also needed to help fund the massive event.
