BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich.-- The Buchanan City Commission gave an update to residents about possible connected lead lines at its meeting Tuesday night.
The letter itself lets people know that their house may be connected to a lead line.
Buchanan Now sent out a statement saying the water is safe to drink after testing, but if you would like help testing your water that you should contact the city.
"The city of Buchanan and water is very clean when it comes to lead, the action level is 15 parts per billion. And the city's results came in at one part per billion of lead, which is very minimal." said Tim Lynch, Buchanan City Manager.
