Car crashes into a building at Main and Ewing in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant after crashing into a building at the corner of Main and Ewing Streets Friday morning, according to South Bend Police.
The crash happened just before 8:30 a.m.
Firefighters assisted getting the driver out of the vehicle because it was pinned up against the building.
The driver was taken to the hospital and then taken to the St. Joseph County Jail on an outstanding warrant.
The crash remains under investigation.
