Car crashes into Resale to the Rescue Friday morning

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- St. Joseph County Dispatch reports a call came in around 11:20 a.m. Friday for a vehicle crashing into Resale to the Rescue on West McKinley Avenue in Mishawaka.

The Mishawaka Police Department told ABC57 the driver of the vehicle pressed the gas instead of the brake and a woman inside went to the hospital for possible glass in her eyes.

Authorities say the vehicle was able to back out of the building.

The car crashed just left of the front door, shattering glass and breaking bricks.

There's currently no information about any injuries.
