Both drivers cited in two-vehicle crash at U.S. 33 and C.R. 20

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 33 and C.R. 20 around 11:40 a.m. Monday.

The report states a 2012 Mazda MA5, driven by 80-year-old John Miller of Goshen, was traveling south on U.S. 33 at the intersection of C.R. 20 when he turned east onto a private road to the east of the intersection.

Authorities say a 1999 Subaru Legacy, driven by 20-year-old Zachary Clark of Goshen, was traveling north on U.S. 33 and had the right of way when Miller failed to yield.

Miller turned striking Clark's driver's side, the report states.

Clark was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for a possible concussion and cited for Driving Without Insurance.

Miller was uninjured and cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way.
