BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Student basketball fans at Indiana University will soon have access to better seats at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

IU Athletics announced that it is moving much of its student section down the bleachers to seats much closer to the court. This includes reserving seats near the floor on both ends of the court. According to a video posted to social media, this is to enhance gameday excitement in the venue.

Both the men's and women's teams are expected to announce their full schedules closer to the start of the school year.
