Winter Storm Wednesday
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The City is honoring the accomplishments of two Hispanic leaders and putting them up on billboards for all to see.
The City, along with La Casa De Amistad, honored Humberto Delgado and Cecilia Lopez Monterrosa.
They are featured on billboards at three locations:
- Edison and South Bend Ave.
- Ironwood and South Bend Ave.
- Ironwood and Lincolnway
Mayor James Mueller attended the unveiling of the first billboard today at Ironwood and South Bend Ave.
A Hispanic heritage celebration will be taking place tomorrow, October 5, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
