MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Today, Bethel University announced their Pilot Promise program, a grant which covers 100 percent of tuition costs for qualifying Indiana students.
The Pilot Promise will be awarded to first time or undergraduate transfer students studying in the fall of 2024, providing the opportunity for higher education for students who feel they can't afford it.
The Vice President of Enrollment Management at Bethel, Amanda Slaughter, doesn't want students have to go through the process of figuring out how to afford college.
"I’m a first-generation college student, and so college was one of the things I aspired to but couldn’t figure out how to afford. We don’t want students to have affordability as a reason they don’t even go through the process.”
Eligible students must be Indiana residents and living on campus.
In addition, students must be eligible for the full Federal Pell Grant and full Indiana State Grant, which is determined through their FAFSA application.
Students must apply to Bethel University and complete the 24-25 FAFSA by April 15, 2024.
