Benefit to help Jaidyn and Neilah Maule

VALPARAISO, Ind. -- A Valparaiso woman heading to LaPorte died in car accident in late July.

Katherine Atkins had three children in her car when she was h it by an SUV on a sharp curve in Westville. Two of the three children were injured.

There will be a softball benefit for the kids this weekend.

Scharf Fields in LaPorte Sept. 15 and needed Sept. 16.

Entry fee is $150 per team (limited to the first 10 paying teams)
