Back-to-school vaccination event happening in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A vaccination event for children headed to school this fall is being held August 1st, called the Back-to-School-Vaccine Blitz. The event is designed for kids entering kindergarten, grade 6 or 12.
The vaccinations will take place at the Central Fire Station on S. Michigan St. in South Bend from 9 a.m. to noon.
A lead draw will also be available to children entering kindergarten.
Parents and guardians should bring the immunization clinic consent form filled out, photo ID, insurance card, and the child’s vaccine record.
