ELKHART, Ind. -- The City of Elkhart's Economic Development team has invited aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners to attend Wednesday's Small Business Resource Guide Launch Event from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at The Lerner Theatre.

City officials say this event will connect attendees with local and regional entrepreneur support organizations.

The event is set to highlight programs designed to support entrepreneurs from planning and launching a business to expansion.

“We’re excited to launch the Small Business Resource Guide and celebrate it with our community,” Thalia Mora, Economic Development Specialist, said. “By bringing together local partners and support services, we hope to create a clear path for businesses to start, grow and succeed in Elkhart.”

Officials added that the program includes information on planning and startup assistance, funding and financing options, and licensing, permitting, and zoning guidelines.

There will also be networking opportunities and complimentary appetizers and drinks.
