GOSHEN, Ind. -- Wednesday evening, the Goshen Theatre hosted the Black Voices Art Show where four artists displayed their art to the community.
The Black Voices Art Show serves as an opportunity for black artists in the community to display their work with pieces varying from sculptures of repurposed metal to spoken-word poetry.
"The fact that this many in the community are taken out on a Wednesday night to come out and participate and to see and actually be present is a big statement," said artist Dorothy Carter. "... to have people come out and really participate and be interested."
