ARGOS, Ind.-- The small town of argos is celebrating the weekend before the fourth of July in a big way.
Almost one hundred people came to the Marshall County Fairgrounds this afternoon to celebrate the annual "Fourth-A-Bration".
Volunteers from the Argos Fire Department and other community organizations sponsor the event.
It's primarily for the little ones, and is free of charge.
"Nowadays, there's not a lot for peopleand and so we try to have multiple events throughout the year, and this one is the biggest," said Argos Firefighter Andy Stone.
Organizers of the event say this is a great way to entertain the kids and keep them out of trouble. It has been going on since the 1960s.
