We'll start to slowly climb down from our seasonal highs over the next several hours into the low 40s tonight as wet weather arrives from the southwest later this evening around 7-9 PM. Rain grows progressively heavier overnight with some scattered thunderstorms possible, especially for those south of US-30. Severe risk is very limited and any storms will likely be more garden variety. A brief pause in the rain takes place Monday morning around rush hour, but cloudy skies keep conditions gloomy. Highs will rise back to the low-mid 50s early in the day with more moderate rain expected Monday afternoon through most of Tuesday. Another chance for some scattered thunderstorms arises Monday night with a similar profile to the first round of rain tonight. As lows fall right around freezing Tuesday night, the outgoing low pressure will slow down and the backdoor precipitation will likely be a rain/snow mix that lasts through Wednesday. Impacts at this point remain minimal, but some accumulation is possible.
