ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Amish Acres in Nappanee held their first spring market of the 2026 season Sunday.
The new owners tell ABC57 they hold these markets on the first weekend of every month to foster local involvement and showcase local vendors.
Vendors at the market sold everything from handmade products to locally produced goods.
"We try to have community involvement," explains Brad Juneau, Owner of Amish Acres. "So, we want, you know, the people with the community to be involved. In the past, Amish acres have been a huge tourist attraction. You know, the bring tours from everywhere, from Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis. We're trying this, this go-around. We're trying to be, you know, more local, and bring the locals.
The next market is set for June 6th.
