BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Welcome to Lake Michigan. In order to cast our net, we needed a captain, so we found one of the best in the business! Captain Russ Clark.
“It is really great we have a fishery here where we catch salmon and trout right in our own backyard,” says Captain Clark. “It’s a fishery that people go to Alaska for salmon, and it’s pretty amazing we get them right here in Benton Harbor Saint Joe.”
Captain Russ has been in business with Seahawk Charters since 1985. Families can book his services for a morning or afternoon trip out on the water. The trip starts in Benton Harbor, and what follows is plenty of fishy finds! With Seahawk Charters, everything is included. From the bait, to the gear and even some fish cleaning to enjoy your catch.
There are plenty of exciting species hiding within Lake Michigan.
“The type of fish you are going to be catching will be salmon, lake trout, and steel head.”
And after so many years in the business, for Captain Clark, it is all about the people.
“You meet some great people, for example to group today has been coming for 30 years, so you look at them as more as friends than clients and look forward to seeing them again.”
Plan your visit with Captain Clark here.
