ABC57 News wins Cardinal Award for Project Tornado and Blizzard

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The ABC57 News team was honored with an award for community service on Wednesday for Project Tornado and Blizzard.
The team received the Cardinal Award from the Indiana Broadcasters Association, which came with a letter from Congresswoman Jackie Walorski.
The Project Tornado and Blizzard programs aim to teach local elementary and middle school students about weather.
Members of the ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Team visit schools and discuss safety with students during weather-related activities.
