SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- School Board races here in the Hoosier state could become partisan under a proposed bill.
Candidates would declare a party and go through a Primary Election process like every other partisan office.
That proposed bill, Senate Bill 287, is co-sponsored by District 12 State Senator Blake Doriot who represents the County of Elkhart.
ABC57's Dante Stanton got the opportunity to speak with Senator Doriot about this Bill and what he hopes for its future.
