TAMPA, Fla. - Notre Dame fans are gradually making their way to Tampa for the 2015 NCAA women's basketball Final Four tournament.
Mike Martin, President of the Greater Tampa Bay Notre Dame Club, says sunny skies and warm temperature make Tampa the perfect location to host this year's tournament.
“Especially this time of year the weather is just great. Around the arena there are a lot of things to do. A lot of good restaurants,” said Martin.
Martin says the Irish will have the support of the greater Tampa Bay Notre Dame Club's 2,000 members on Sunday.
He's been getting emails from fans all over the country planning to attend as well.
“I would bet a few hundred people easy, will be coming down,” said Martin.
Martin says there are 19 Notre Dame clubs scattered across the state.
