A third of Michigan graduating seniors are ready for college
In Michigan public schools only 34.6 percent of students in the class of 2019 are "college ready."
The ranking is based on their SAT test scores as juniors and is identical to data from last year's graduating class.
According to M-Live about 58 percent of high school seniors met the standards for reading and writing.
In math, only 37 percent of students were college ready.
