A look back: Blizzard of 1978

The biggest blizzard in history struck the Michiana area this week, back in 1978.


Indiana was paralyzed by the snow. Several records for snowfall were set and have yet to be broken today.


It took the City of South Bend three weeks to remove all the snow from around the area businesses.
