COCONUT CREEK, Fla. -- A Florida Marine is pumping up to help out his fellow soldiers.
Sergeant Enrique Trevino is raising money and awareness by doing 1 million push-ups before the end of the year.
He created the fundraiser to help the Wounded Warrior Project.
"There are people out there who are struggling day to day from losing a limb, or something. So this is just my way to give back to them, and tell them thank you," Trevino said.
He is not doing all the push-ups at once. Trevino said he does about 2,700 push-ups a day.
So far, Trevino said he has raised nearly $10,000. His goal is $20,000.
