8-year-old injured in Goshen hit-and-run crash

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Goshen officers are searching for the driver that left an 8-year-old injured in a hit-and-run crash.

At approximately 6:10 p.m. on Friday, April 12, officers responded to the scene of a crash at the intersection of West Pike Street and Denver Avenue.

The motorist fled the scene after striking an 8-year-old girl, police say.

The child was transported to Goshen Hospital by her father where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.

The driver has not been identified.
