Cass, St. Joseph counties to receive new round of Michigan state disaster relief funds

LANSING -- Local counties will receive more money from the state of Michigan to aid with storm recovery.

State officials announced Cass and St. Joseph Counties will each receive $547,944 to help cover costs associated with severe storms and tornadoes that impacted the area in March 2026.

This spending is part of a larger $7 million disaster relief fund statewide.
