51-year-old arrested on active warrant and drug charge

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Office reports a K9 deputy responded to a call of a suspicious person and vehicle near Sycamore Road and S.R. 17 on Saturday around 11:15 p.m.

Authorities say the deputy arrived and made contact with the man at the vehicle. The man was then identified as 51-year-old Alexander Pranger.

Pranger was found to have an active warrant in Starke County and during the deputy's investigation, suspected drugs were found in the vehicle.

Pranger was then arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Pranger's charges include possession of a legend drug and his active warrant.

His bond was set at $1,505.
