SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The YMCA of Greater Michiana announced the 2024 Greatest Chefs of Michiana competition and fundraiser for Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Century Center in South Bend.

This event brings together local chefs and “celebrities” for a fun and flavorful competition, all while raising vital funds to ensure that YMCA membership and programs remain accessible to everyone in the South Bend community.

Local chefs are paired with area celebrities to create a unique dish, which will be presented at the event.

The community is invited to vote for their favorite team during the event and are encouraged to cast their vote on their webpage here. The team with the most votes will be awarded the title of “Greatest Chef of Michiana.”

“This event showcases the power of community collaboration,” said Kayla O’Brien, Fund Development Director at the YMCA of Greater Michiana. “By coming together to enjoy great food and support our cause, we’re able to fund programs that change lives, from helping children thrive to providing resources for families in need. It’s amazing to see the impact this event can have.”

Tickets are available for both individuals and groups. For tickets, voting, and more information, visit ymcagm.org/chefs.
