Zach Bryan takes to the stage at Notre Dame Stadium
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Zach Bryan will be joined by Shane Gillis and Dermont Kennedy for an unforgettable experience right in South Bend. ABC 57’s Sidney Moore went to Eddy Street to talk to some people ahead of the event.
One person she spoke with Matthew Danson says he drove all the way from Georgia to be here. He says his mom got him tickets to be able to come see one of his favorite artists. “She bought the tickets, and we drove down here from Atlanta, so it's been quite an experience.”
Notre Dame Stadium will be filled with a mixed bag of concert goers. For many like Danson it is their first concert experience, but others are more seasoned fans of the performers. Cameron Collins says, “ it's my second time seeing Shane Gillis. This will be my fifth time seeing Zach Bryan.”
Collins is excited to hear comedian Shane Gillis talk about his past experiences in the bend. He says, “just hearing him talk about his Notre Dame stories him growing up here, we've had a lot of the same experiences at Notre Dame so just hearing about him and the stadium will be really cool to see.”
The night before the concert country artist Zach Bryan and comedian Shane Gillis were spotted at a local sports bar, the linebacker. Some fans were lucky enough to see them ahead of the big night.
Craig Osman tells ABC 57’s Sidney Moore, “I don't know if I am more excited for Shane Gillis, or far more excited for Zach Ryan, but I will say I did see Zach Ryan and Shane Gillis last night. Linebacker in his experience, the best experience of my life.”
Some Notre Dame freshmen tell ABC 57’s Sidney Moore that they are excited to see the stadium for the first time after the first football game was an away game. The addition of Zach Bryan performing is just the cherry on top.
