BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- In preparation for the upcoming tourism and growing seasons, local wineries, vineyards, and wine-adjacent businesses will gather for a hiring fair at the Welch Center for Wine and Viticulture Technology on the Lake Michigan College Benton Harbor Campus. The event is free and open to all job seeker from 4 to 6 p.m. on April 8. 

“This is a great opportunity for community members as well as Lake Michigan College viticulture students to meet face-to-face with area wine industry leaders to learn about the career paths and immediate job openings in this exciting field,” stated Tim Godfrey, director of the Lake Michigan College Wine & Viticulture Technology program and director of the Welch Center.

Attendees can expect a free-flowing, informal atmosphere where they can move between employer tables, learn about available positions, and speak directly with hiring managers. Opportunities range from tasting room and hospitality roles to vineyard and winery operations work.
