Young adult hit by a train in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- St. Joseph County dispatch says they received a call at 8:06 on Friday about a train striking a young adult man on the tracks near Fellows Street and East Sample Street in South Bend.
The young adult was found unconscious but breathing.
Police said that the victim was transported to Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
