SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A celebration of women's history and contributions took over Saint Mary's College with the Women's Impact Panel.
The event showcased local female entrepreneurs, professional athletes, bank executives, and more, all gathered to share their journeys to success and to celebrate each other's impact.
Organizers say it's at events like this one where partnerships build communities, both now and in the future.
"It's incredibly impactful. We are thinking about what the future of this region looks like. How can we have camaraderie and support one another," stated President and CEO of the South Bend Elkhart Regional Partnership Bethany Hartley.
Hartley continues, "If we want to build a community and a region that we want to see thriving and prosperous, which is what we want, then showing up to events like this really matter."
This is the second year of the panel, with around 130 people showing up.
