MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. — The Washington Park Zoo held day two of its "Wild Spring" preview on Sunday, giving visitors a sneak peek at the upcoming season.
Some of the newest attractions and animals include an added jaguar, a new photo opportunity with the wolf exhibit, an alpaca and much more.
The bear and mountain lion exhibits are also front and center at the beginning of the park.
While the sandy beaches of Michigan City often draw in the most attention from tourists, zoo officials believe these new attractions will bring in more guests and make for a busy summer season.
They also say the zoo's small structure is the perfect size for families looking to have a quick day trip.
The zoo officially opens for the season on Monday, April 1.
