Whirlpool Corporation joins NOAR and the City of Benton Harbor for June Woods Park dedication event

BENTON HARBOR, Ind.- Whirlpool Corporation, Neighbors Organizing Against Racism and the City of Benton Harbor are hosting a ribbon cutting, community celebration and rededication of Broadway Park to the June Woods Memorial Park on Sunday, August 20. 

In June, more than 120 Whirlpool Corporation employees and members from NOAR volunteered to begin revitalizing Broadway Park for the company’s annual Day of Impact.  

Whirlpool began the initiative as a commemoration of Juneteenth and its Racial Equality Pledge to support positive and lasting impact in Benton Harbor. 

This event marks the final phase and celebration of the work and the official dedication of June Woods Park.
