Today marks (hopefully) one of the last times we will see a high below 20 degrees through this week. Some snow expected today in the western reaches of Michiana thanks to the lake effect. Snow will likely affect more of Lake and Porter counties through the day, with clouds starting to clear for all of Michiana this afternoon. Clearer night skies mean more heat can escape the surface overnight, lows could get below 0 degrees in some areas tomorrow morning. A warmup is expected, Sunday's high brings the mid 20s, a trend that will stick with us through most of the week. Some widespread snow overnight Sunday into Monday, lingering AM snow stepping out the door to begin the work week. Highs remain in the 20s, even potentially climbing to the 30s at the end of the week, before more widespread snow and a drop in temps next weekend.
