Warming trend continues through next week

Hearts aren't the only thing melting for Valentine's Day. As temperatures remain above freezing, snow and ice will continue to melt, even through next week!

Overnight, clouds will gather and temperatures will fall near or below freezing. There is a slight chance for rain overnight. Most of Michiana stays dry, but areas along and south of US-24 could see light rain. Foggy conditions, however, are expected for much of the area early Sunday morning. Clouds break during the day on Sunday, and temperatures make a run at the 50s!

Temperatures continue to warm through the week, with the warmest day being Wednesday. As temperatures increase, so does the chance for rain showers. The best chance for showers is Wednesday, with gusty winds and embedded storms possible. Temperatures cool near average by the end of next week with more rain chances.

Tonight: Light rain possible for southern counties, gathering clouds, foggy. Low 28.

Sunday: AM fog, brighter skies, warming. High 50.
