Michiana is in the middle of a warm-up through today and tomorrow as upper level winds bring in warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico region. Expect highs in the low 80s today with plenty of sunshine and a light breeze amidst slightly more humid conditions. Mostly clear skies develop overnight as a few fair-weather clouds are likely to develop into tomorrow. Thursday will be our warmest day of the week pushing the upper 80s, but the heat breaks late tomorrow night as a cold front brings showers and gusty winds into the area Friday and Saturday. While there are morning showers forecasted for the ND/NIU tailgates, the game will stay mostly dry. Highs struggle to stay above 70F heading into the weekend, putting the exclamation point on the first week of meteorological Fall.
Today: Sunny. High 82.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 58.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 88.
Friday: Showers. High 72.
