Victim of Elkhart hit and run dies from injuries, police searching for driver

ELKHART, Ind. - The 54-year-old woman injured in a hit and run in Elkhart on Friday has died from her injuries.
Police are actively searching for the driver and vehicle involved.
The woman, identified as Carolyn Goddard, died at the hospital after being hit near East Bristol Street and Brookwood Drive Friday night.
Police say the suspect vehicle is possibly a Nissan passenger vehicle that has front end and windshield damage and is missing its front Nissan emblem.
