USPS celebrates release of new stamp at early Flag Day celebration

THREE OAKS, Mich. -- The United States Postal Service announced it will celebrate the release of the 2025 U. S. Flag Stamp at a ceremony on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Vickers Theatre in Three Oaks.
Organizers say the ceremony is part of an early Flag Day celebration weekend which includes musical entertainment and a parade on Sunday.
The event is free and open to the public.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Donnie Isaacs, a country musician and member of the Center for American Military Music Opportunities.
The new stamp is a USPS tradition and will be available in booklets of 20, panes of 20, and coils of 100, 3,000, and 10,000.
The stamp features an image of the US flag against a bright white background. Beneath the flag, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” has been rendered in blue type above a horizontal red line. “FOREVER / USA” appears along the bottom of the stamp in gray lettering.
Vickers Theatre is located at 6 N. Elm St. Three Oaks.
