Charlie Weis Jr returns to South Bend as the Offensive Coordinator for the University of South Florida. Weis' father coached at Notre Dame from 2005 - 2009 and Charlie Jr grew up on the sidelines.
ABC57's Allison Hayes takes a look back at an interview she did with the younger Weis in 2008 when he was the manager of the St. Joseph High School football team.
Watch the video above to see the 2008 interview.
Weis Jr is considered one of the best up and coming coordinators in college football.
In USF's first game against the Citadel, the Bulls offense put up 27 points and more than 400 yards of total offense.
Weis will be looking to make it interesting today against the Irish.
