U.S. 20 to close near county line for railroad work

Indiana Department of Transportation LA PORTE, Ind. -- CSX Railroad will close U.S. 20 at the crossing between Ardendale Ave and County Line Road on or after Monday, June 1.
U.S. 20 will be closed in this location for approximately five while CSX conducts work on their crossing. The closure will be confined to the railroad crossing, and local access will be maintained up to that point.
The official detour will follow State Road 49, I-94 and U.S. 421.
