Two-vehicle crash involving semi sends two to hospital
ABC 57 MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A two-vehicle crash sent a driver and a passenger to the hospital when a vehicle failed to yield to a semi-truck Wednesday morning at the intersection of US 31 and S.R. 110.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, officers were dispatched to the intersection of US 31 and S.R. 110 around 9:25 a.m. Wednesday for a two-vehicle crash.
When the officers arrived, they discovered that a 2012 Chevy Silverado had been driving east until the driver failed to yield to a 2012 Volvo Tractor Trailer semi-truck.
The semi was unable to avoid the crash, leading to the Silverado getting sent off the east side of the road. The semi ended up on the roadway's shoulder.
The Silverado's driver and passenger were then taken to the hospital for complaints of pain.
