A warm and sunny week’s end, but a snowy weekend
Snow showers return for Michiana, bringing cold temperatures for the weekend. Flakes expected to start falling this afternoon, becoming a little more scattered in the early overnight hours. This first round is pushed by a warm front, bringing temperatures into the 30s for tomorrow. A second round of more widespread snow is expected close to daybreak Friday morning, this time pushed by a cold front. There is a chance for some mixed precipitation in Michiana through the overnight hours, potentially icy conditions out the door Friday morning. Temperatures drop to the 20s once again for the weekend but rebound into the 30s next week. Low precipitation chances until the middle of next week.
Today: Afternoon snow showers, cold, breezy. High 26.
Tonight: Scattered snow showers, some mixed precip. Breezy. Low 22.
Friday: AM snow, lingering snow afternoon. Gusty. High 34.
Saturday: Some morning sun, cold. High 20.
