Two I-196 ramps to close at I-94 in Berrien County on Monday

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – The southbound I-196 ramp to west I-94 and the westbound I-94 ramp to north I-196 will be closed on Monday.

The closure for the south I-196 ramp is expected to last until Oct. 16.

A detour for southbound I-196 traffic will follow to eastbound 1-94 to Coloma Exit 39 Friday Road, then back onto westbound I-94.

The west I-94 ramp will be closed until Tuesday.

For the west I-94 ramp closure, the detour will follow Coloma Exit 39 Friday Road, north to Red Arrow Highway, then west on Red Arrow Highway to northbound I-196.

This construction is part of the US-31 relocation and the I-94 Rebuild Michigan Project.
