UPDATE: Boil advisory for drinking water remains in Bourbon, laundry, shower use ok

ABC 57 UPDATE: The Town of Bourbon announced Monday morning that water may be used for showers and laundry, but the boil advisory remains in effect for drinking water.
Town officials say a series of tests still need to be completed. We will update this story as we learn more.
ORIGINAL STORY: BOURBON, Ind. -- The Town of Bourbon confirmed Sunday afternoon that the town is under a boil water advisory effective immediately.
Be sure to boil tap water before using it for drinking, bathing, cooking, washing dishes, or brushing your teeth if you live within Bourbon Town limits.
Bottled water can also be used as a replacement for tap water.
