Highs near 90 degrees, Saturday, a record if we hit 90. It will also likely be the warmest home game in October for Notre Dame Stadium. The summer heat will break next week; temperatures will fall starting Tuesday with a cold front and much - needed rain. The rain won't be enough to break the drought, but it will help lower the wildfire threat, temporarily. Next week is cooler, but that's a return to seasonal norms.
Tonight: Cool, mostly clear. Low 62.
Saturday: Sunny, hot. High 88.
Sunday: Sunny. High 86.
Monday: Mostly sunny. High 84.
