Ryan Newman racing Saturday at Plymouth Motor Speedway

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- 2008 Daytona 500 Champion Ryan Newman, and his daughter Brooklyn, are set to race this weekend at the Plymouth Motor Speedway.

Ryan Newman is from South Bend, so the race will be a bit of a homecoming. Both Newman racers will compete in the All-Star National Pavement Midget Series, which will feature over 20 cars. The event will also include Jimmy McCune, and Kyle Ferrucci, followed by some Monster Truck competitions. Gates open at 4pm Saturday.
