THREE RIVERS, Mich. -- At approximately 4:35 p.m. officers responded the intersection of West Michigan Avenue and South Douglas Avenue on reports of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.
While responding to this incident, officers were advised that the suspect vehicle had fled the scene.
The victim, a 47-year-old female, was airlifted to Bronson Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
Upon investigating, officers identified the suspect's vehicle as a white Pontiac Vibe.
Through collaboration with the Saint Joseph County Police Department, the Three Rivers Police were able to locate the suspect and the vehicle.
The suspect, a 33-year-old Three Rivers resident, has been identified and is now currently being held at County Jail on several charges.
