UPDATE: Power getting restored across Michiana Wednesday

UPDATE AS OF 3:48 p.m.: Michigan still has almost 1,000 residents without power, while most counties in Indiana have power restored.

AS OF 1:43 p.m.: While power has been restored to thousands in Indiana, hundreds more are now without power in Michigan.

Currently, there are thousands of Michiana residents without power following heavy rain overnight.
